Old Wood Drawer Encaustic Pinecone

I ran into a bunch of these beautiful old wood drawers and have been saving them for the perfect project. I've finally come up with this new technique of encasing the medium within the wood by routing out a slot. The wax/resin edges are nicely protected now. I love how sturdy and earthy it is.

Nest with Crows Eggs

I'm excited to be starting a new project using found wood, barn wood, old drawer pieces, etc. in conjunction with encaustics. The wax medium is now safely housed within the routed wood. So nicely protected. Here's a nest with three crows eggs I photographed. I love how the original paint on the wood matches the eggs so nicely.

Framed Winter Scenes

Small scale framed encaustics ready to be hung at Gallery 360. I was so happy to find this tiny decorative black frame for these 5x7's and 8x10's. It's the perfect size.

Snowy Branches

I usually don't make many vertical pieces...but I've had a request and have been trying to find images that work with this orientation. Here's two large scale (24x36) pieces I recently completed.

Metal Prints

Now offering metal prints on my photographic etsy site.
The photo is printed directly onto high quality aluminum with ⅛” rounded corners through a dye sublimation process for a clean and lasting final product. This Clear Metal Print lets you see the brushed metal through the image. Areas that are normally white allow the metal to shine through. Has a high-gloss finish that will quickly grab the attention of viewers.
A Stunning Visual that Lasts.
