I've Hunted You for so Long

The young deer waits
my bleeding heart has stopped
A feverish parting of the lips
our flowing rivers mingle
as one abyss.
The quivering branches hide
my stone touch grazing their life.
The wind whispers the secrets you've
always known were true.
Standing still
with the swaying of the trees.
Feeling your breath.
I've hunted you for so long.

  1. I love this piece! Haven't been on here in awhile, so forgive me. This is one of my favorite pieces you've written, - did you write this? I hope so. Even if you didn't it fits so well with your art. Thank you
